Dear Friends,

Luke 2:9-14

An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”

Good news is only so when you worship the One who came to die in your place. That is the good news. He suffered so we may not have to. What a blessing! May we make certain our hope and calling this season as we remember the birth of our Saviour. Merry Christmas.

At the Bible College, students wrote their semester finals, some quite terrified but all doing fairly well! They are excited about entering the new semester. As part of their training they go to the villages with faculty to preach, distribute tracts and evangelize door to door. Sometimes they are involved in street plays as well. Good learning experiences as well as sowing of seed. They will be going to assist our
missionaries and train with them in the December holidays. They also minister to the local families with the Word and Christmas carols during this season.

Space for a library continues to be a need. Books have been added but no available funds to add a room for that purpose. Pray for provision.

All our centers have seen growth in our children. Spiritually, physically and mentally they are doing well. Some of them performed well in athletics and won medals for which they were overjoyed. Our workers are not all well. Udai suffers from high blood pressure and that causes him to pause. Anand also needs much prayer.

We work towards teaching our parents to be self sufficient. Pray that the Gospel will work in their hearts. Some children need support in order to be able to stay warm this winter. Let us know if you can help.

October saw us leading VBS in four different locations. Children came in spite of torrential rains, some for the first time. Praise the Lord for willing workers who worked tirelessly towards this cause.vbs-1

In the month of November, our evangelists gathered to learn gardening skills. Bro. Sunil Klavara of Nagpur trained our workers in the various methods of growing vegetables etc. We hope to build bridges with our neighbors through these skills and also to learn to be self- sufficient to a degree.

  • Students: As they prepare for outreach during Christmas Holidays.
  • Children: For the various needs of our children. We need to provide for sweaters, play clothes and shoes. We budget Rs. 1000 per child. We have 75 children whose needs have to be met.

January: Our Evangelists will be gathering for a time of training (BTCP) to enhance their biblical knowledge.

February: Staff workers will gather together for a leadership Seminar. Our vision 2020 will also be discussed in detail

Sonali, Janet and I were able to go see some friends and places in Singapore for about 10 days. It was a good retreat. Thank you for providing for that. Dad is alright. Pray for him as we celebrate Christmas without Mom and also as her first death anniversary draws near. Some days are harder than others.

As this year draws to a close, we do want to say “Thank you” to you for your continued support. I know there are those of you who pray for us faithfully.
Many blessings,
